With a career largely devoted to client-facing roles within the markets divisions of major investment banks, Fayçal possesses extensive expertise in relationship-building, partnership creation, and transaction execution with institutional investors in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Before establishing Dahab Capital, Fayçal led the sales division for Citigroup in the MENA region. In this capacity, he was responsible for designing and implementing the firm’s regional sales strategy, leading a cross-border team based in London and Dubai, and nurturing the bank’s relationships with institutional investors. Under his leadership, Citigroup’s MENA team climbed to a #1 industry ranking in market share and client satisfaction, as indicated by industry surveys.Throughout his diverse career, Fayçal has orchestrated a broad spectrum of transactions involving various asset classes and investor demographics. This 'deal mileage' has enabled him to cultivate a strong network of key decision-makers and influencers in the MENA investment community. Most recently, he served as Chief Investment Development Officer for the Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZA), where he led strategy, investment functions, and helped establish Doha Venture Capital. Previously, as Director at Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), Dr. Jalal structured, executed, and managed complex investment transactions across financial institutions and other sectors.
He joined QIA from Goldman Sachs, where he was Executive Director in Derivatives Trading. He holds a Master’s in Mathematics from EPFL and a Ph.D. in Finance from the university of Lausanne (Switzerland), with published works in peer-reviewed journals on risk management, investment strategies, and derivatives.
Dr. Rams Kanouni is a seasoned leader in financial services with over 25 years of experience, including pivotal roles at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) and Manulife Financial.
At ADIA, he held senior positions such as Head of Private Markets Strategy, where he created infrastructure as an asset class and managed private investments programs.
Dr. Kanouni also served on key committees, contributing to ADIA's governance and strategic direction. He is the founder and CEO of Pharos Multi-Family Office in Dubai, serving high-net-worth families, and also leads Capmetric, a boutique consultancy advising on investment strategy and risk management.
He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Université Laval (Canada) and is a CFA charter holder with published papers in peer-reviewed journals.

He began his career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen and Salustro Reydel, before moving into consulting roles at Kearney, Alvarez & Marsal, and later founding Greene6 Partners. Following his consulting career, he co-founded Laborizon in the medical biology industry, which was eventually acquired by BIOGROUP, the leading player in France.
Dr. Leclerc is also a co-founder of GP-Score, an advisory and rating agency focused on operational value creation in private equity.
He is an investor and sponsor in SIMAGO, a leading medical imaging company in France and Italy, as well as TEO, a tele-ophthalmology venture. Dr. Leclerc holds a Ph.D. from Université Paris Dauphine (France) and is a Certified Accountant.
